    • Bahrain-based social commerce startup Sellou has raised a seed funding round for an undisclosed value at a $3 million valuation.
    • Founded in 2020 by Salman Al Khalifa, Sellou provides sellers with a video-first commerce marketplace that prioritises social sharing.
    • The company plans to use the funds to develop its platform, expand its reach across the Middle East and North Africa, and further establish itself as a leading video-first commerce marketplace.

    Bahrain-based social commerce app Sellou has raised a seed funding round for an undisclosed value at a $3 million valuation.

    Founded by Salman Al Khalifa and focused on bringing video-powered selling to the region, Sellou simplifies the buying and selling experience by enabling users to create and share short video storefronts, facilitating direct connections. Sellou allows users to showcase and sell various products, from artisanal goods to everyday items, through engaging video content.

    This investment will empower Sellou to further develop its platform, expand its reach within the MENA region, and solidify its position as a leading video-based marketplace.
