Abu Dhabi, UAE, 4 September, 2026: The Founder’s Office is inviting members of the community to share their personal memories of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan through the “Zayed Oral Archive” at its pavilion during the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, taking place at ADNEC Abu Dhabi until 6 September.
The “Zayed Oral Archive” provides a dedicated space for visitors who knew Sheikh Zayed or hold photographs, stories, personal keepsakes or memories connected to him. A specialised team based at the pavilion welcomes visitors, listens to their stories and documents the relevant information, helping to preserve personal accounts and first-hand memories associated with Sheikh Zayed for future generations.
Since the exhibition opened, the pavilion has welcomed a number of guests who lived during Sheikh Zayed’s time and shared first-hand memories and personal stories of their encounters with him. These accounts are recorded as part of The Founder’s Office’s ongoing work to research, document and preserve material related to Sheikh Zayed’s life and legacy, enriching the historical record with personal perspectives from those who personally witnessed his leadership and values.
Through its participation at ADIHEX 2026, The Founder’s Office brings together documented historical material and personal memories held within the community, recognising that oral accounts are an important source of knowledge that can add further context and detail to the historical record of Sheikh Zayed’s life, values and enduring legacy.
The Founder’s Office invites the public to visit its pavilion (5-040) in Hall 5 at ADIHEX 2026 and bring any photographs, stories or personal keepsakes connected to Sheikh Zayed, contribute to documenting them, in line with the Office’s ongoing efforts to preserve Sheikh Zayed’s legacy.
