Saudi workforce housing startup Rela has secured an investment from Yazeed Al Rajhi & Brothers Holding, which has joined the company as an investor and strategic partner, as the startup looks to expand its workforce accommodation network across Saudi Arabia.
The financial value of the investment and the stake acquired by the holding company were not disclosed.
Launched in early 2026 under the leadership of Salman Al Jabrain, Rela provides technology-enabled workforce housing and accommodation management services, combining licensed accommodation with property management, operations and supporting services through a single platform.
The company's business model connects property owners, investors and developers with companies looking for accommodation for their employees and workers. Rela manages the properties and related services rather than operating solely as a marketplace connecting supply and demand.
Its services cover the preparation, management, operation and maintenance of workforce housing facilities, alongside transportation and catering. Its technology platform allows corporate clients to manage reservations, monitor occupancy rates, allocate workers across properties and analyse operational data.
Rela targets businesses operating across sectors including construction, operations and maintenance, logistics, industrial, hospitality and retail, as well as companies working on major projects that require accommodation for large workforces.
The company focuses on providing accommodation in locations aligned with its customers' operational requirements while standardising the management and services associated with workforce housing.
Following the investment, Rela plans to expand its network of properties and residential complexes across Saudi Arabia by working with property owners, developers and investors to bring additional buildings onto its platform.
The company aims to match these available properties with corporate demand for workforce housing, while handling their management, operations and associated services.
The investment comes only months after Rela began operations, giving the company a strategic partner as it looks to expand its footprint in Saudi Arabia's workforce accommodation market.
