    Al Ain, November 27, 2025: Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, the inaugural edition of the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (AAIHEX) showcases a vibrant celebration of animals deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of the United Arab Emirates. This landmark event showcases the iconic falcon, the Arabian horse, camels, and the Arabian Saluki, highlighting their enduring significance in Emirati traditions.

    Organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, AAIHEX runs until November 30 at the ADNEC Centre Al Ain. The exhibition features a diverse array of traditional and modern products and services for falconry, hunting, equestrian, and outdoor enthusiasts, offering something for every visitor passionate about these timeless pursuits.

    With falcons representing a symbol deeply ingrained in the national identity and celebrated throughout UAE literature, music, and art, the Falconry sector at AAIHEX provides enthusiasts the opportunity to view the latest products and some of the finest falcons from local farms. Al Dhafra Falcons is participating at AAIHEX 2025, offering visitors a diverse selection of elite falcons available for purchase.

    Ibrahim Abdullah Khazim of Al Dhafra for Falcons expressed his enthusiasm for the event, viewing it as a significant opportunity to sell falcons and attract a large number of customers and falconry enthusiasts. He further explained that the exhibition serves as a vital connection for those interested in purchasing falcons, ensuring accessibility for all segments of society interested in this field, thereby facilitating marketing and enhancing public understanding.

    Ali Salem Al Hassani, owner of Alshahin Gold Falconry Shop, regards the exhibition as an excellent platform for falconers to present their hunting and equestrian services. He emphasised the significance of the exhibition’s initiatives in preserving falconry, which are essential for the industry’s future. He also highlighted how advancements in technology and equipment are meeting the evolving needs of falcon enthusiasts and supporting Abu Dhabi’s efforts to promote hunting and equestrian activities.

    Falconers attending the exhibition can also explore a comprehensive range of products and supplies from exhibitors such as Garnas Falconry, who are showcasing specialised equipment including falcon hoods, perches, jesses (leather straps), and gloves, the essential tools for the proper handling and training of these majestic birds.

    The Equestrian sector at AAIHEX offers attendees the chance to discover the latest in equestrian equipment and supplies, enjoy live demonstrations of riding and jumping skills, and connect with trainers and industry experts. The Arabian Horses Society is showcasing the cultural and historical, significance of Arabian horses, their role in hunting, and their deep connection to the heritage of Al Ain.

    A highlight of this inaugural edition is a dedicated Camel sector, bringing together the latest innovations in camel-related products and services. This sector features cutting-edge advancements in research from the UAE Biotech Research Center, essential camel gear and specialised feed for maintaining both beauty and racing camels health.

    The Arabian Saluki sector is dedicated to celebrating the distinguished Arabian Saluki, a breed renowned for its loyalty and deep cultural significance in traditional hunting across the Middle East. Delma Kennel is showcasing a range of purebred Arabian Salukis at the event, highlighting their ongoing commitment to the protection and preservation of this ancient breed.

    Visitors can enjoy live demonstrations and interactive workshops in the Arena, where children and adults alike can learn how to train Salukis and discover the traditional methods of hunting with them. Additionally, there will be daily demonstrations of Saluki lure coursing, offering an exciting opportunity to witness these graceful hounds in action.

    The inaugural Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is a landmark event, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the region to Al Ain.
