Press release:
Autobia, a Saudi B2B technology company building the future of the auto parts market, today announced that it has raised US$12.0 million in a Series A funding round led by Artal Capital, with participation from Aljazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures.
Autobia operates at the intersection of an auto-parts-managed marketplace and B2B embedded financial solutions. Its platform enables auto parts retailers and wholesalers to source products from verified suppliers, access integrated fulfilment services, purchase inventory on flexible payment terms, and manage their end-consumers' payments through licensed payment and BNPL providers through a single technology-driven ecosystem.
“Our ambition goes beyond digitising auto parts procurement. We are building a technology platform infrastructure that gives traditional auto parts businesses the intelligence, efficiency, and tools they need to compete and grow,” said Emad Daghreri, Co-Founder and CEO of Autobia. Ahmed Alawfi, Co-Founder and COO, added: “A key part of that vision is expanding access to embedded financial services so our customers can manage working-capital constraints and grow with greater flexibility. We are proud to partner with investors who share our long-term ambition for the sector.”
The new funding will support Autobia’s next phase of growth, including expanding its presence across Saudi Arabia, strengthening its fulfilment and logistics infrastructure, advancing its proprietary dynamic pricing and technology, and scaling its inventory on terms solutions.
“Autobia is addressing a large and underserved market through a differentiated model that combines technology, operational execution, and embedded financial services,” said Wassim Moukahhal, Head of Alternative Investments at Artal Capital. “We aim to support the founders’ vision and fulfil the platform’s potential to become a critical part of the automotive after-sales infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. We look forward to supporting Autobia through its next phase of growth.”
The investment aligns with the continued development of Saudi Arabia’s technology, logistics, automotive, and financial-services sectors under Vision 2030. By digitising procurement and transactions, improving supply chain efficiency, and expanding access to working capital, Autobia aims to build the infrastructure behind every spare part sold and every vehicle serviced across the region.
