El Alamein, Arab Republic of Egypt, 9 September 2026: The UAE national pavilion continued to attract strong interest on the second day of its participation at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, receiving an exceptional number of visitors, including senior official and military delegations from around the world.

The pavilion, the largest at the exhibition, welcomed 1,875 visitors, highlighting the significant interest in the UAE’s participation and the advanced capabilities, solutions and technologies showcased by national companies across the aviation, aerospace and defence sectors.

The UAE pavilion is supported by the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council, and organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company.

On the second day of the event, the pavilion hosted a series of high-level visits from military delegations from around the world, where they explored the latest products, solutions and innovations presented by UAE organisations, as well as the progress made by the nation’s industries in aviation, defence and advanced technology.

These visits provided an important platform for engagement with senior officials, decision-makers and international experts, while creating opportunities to explore new areas of cooperation, exchange expertise and build strategic partnerships. The discussions also reinforced the competitive position of UAE industries and their ability to deliver world-class products and solutions to regional and global markets.

The second day also witnessed a high level of activity across the UAE National Pavilion, with participating organisations and companies holding 36 meetings with representatives from international organisations, companies and visiting delegations.

The teams behind IDEX and NAVDEX held eight meetings, while the UMEX team conducted four meetings and the ISNR team held three meetings. These engagements formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with international partners and promote the specialised events hosted by the UAE.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Aviation conducted 13 meetings, EDGE Group held five meetings, and Generation 5 carried out three meetings, reflecting the strong commercial and professional momentum surrounding the UAE’s participation and the growing interest in future collaboration and partnership opportunities.

A key highlight of the second day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Abu Dhabi Aviation and Petroleum Air Services (PAS). The agreement demonstrates the role of the exhibition in creating new avenues for cooperation between UAE companies and their regional and international counterparts, while transforming networking opportunities into practical partnerships and joint business initiatives.

The UAE National Pavilion will continue its participation at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, leveraging the exhibition’s extensive international reach, which brings together 250 exhibitors from more than 50 countries. Through its participation, the UAE aims to strengthen its position across the aviation, aerospace, defence and advanced technology sectors, showcase the continued development of its national industries and their ability to compete globally, enter new markets and deepen cooperation with partners from around the world.
