    Abu Dhabi, UAE, 10 July 2026: The National Rehabilitation infrastructure-at-wsis-forum-2026-and-ai-for-good-global-summit/”>Center (NRC), in collaboration with Al Dhafra Hospitals, has announced its participation in the 22nd edition of the Liwa Date Festival, organised by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The festival will take place from 14 to 23 July in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, bringing together a wide range of government entities, private sector organisations, and strategic partners.

    Through its participation, the NRC aims to raise awareness of its role and specialised services in prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. It also seeks to enhance community awareness of the risks of addiction and ways to prevent it by promoting healthy lifestyles.

    Commenting on the participation, Yousef Altheeb Alketbi, Chief Executive Officer of the National Rehabilitation Center, said: ‘Our joint participation with Al Dhafra Hospitals in the Liwa Date Festival reflects our commitment to social responsibility and to strengthening partnerships with government and private sector entities in support of unified national efforts. It also provides an important opportunity to engage directly with community members and introduce them to our services, delivered with the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy. These services provide comprehensive medical, psychological, and social support to individuals seeking treatment and recovery.’

    ‘At NRC, we are committed to strengthening direct engagement with all segments of society to better understand their needs and improve access to the Center’s services and awareness initiatives, he added.’
