Abu Dhabi, UAE – 21 May 2026: His Excellency Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed that the resolution issued by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and in his capacity as Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, regarding the establishment of the Commercial Mediation Centre at Abu Dhabi Chamber, represents a strategic step that reflects the UAE leadership’s forward-looking vision and its continued commitment to developing an advanced legislative and judicial ecosystem that enhances the competitiveness of the business environment and strengthens investor confidence locally and globally.

His Excellency explained that the centre will serve as a valuable addition to Abu Dhabi’s ecosystem of advanced business services and solutions by providing more flexible, efficient, and faster mechanisms for resolving commercial disputes, supporting business continuity, reducing challenges associated with commercial disputes, and further enhancing the emirate’s attractiveness as a leading destination for business and investment.

Al Marzooqi noted that the centre forms part of Abu Dhabi’s integrated alternative dispute resolution ecosystem, alongside Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre, with each entity operating within its own specialised mandate and role. Together, they strengthen the emirate’s legal and commercial framework while offering the business community and investors advanced and diversified dispute resolution solutions aligned with international best practices.

His Excellency stressed that this step reflects Abu Dhabi’s advanced position in developing a global business environment built on efficiency, flexibility, and governance, reaffirming that Abu Dhabi Chamber will continue to develop high-impact initiatives and services that support the private sector and align with the emirate’s future aspirations.
