Career 180 Announces KEMET-X, Bringing $5 Billion in Funds from Five Continents to Egypt’s Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem
Cairo, 21 September 2026: Career 180 announced the launch of KEMET-X, its upcoming global entrepreneurship and innovation gathering, which will bring approximately $5 billion in funds from five continents to Egypt, alongside international investors, venture capital firms, founders, corporates, government leaders, and technology pioneers. The platform aims to connect global capital and expertise with Egypt’s growing entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, creating new opportunities for investment, partnerships, and access to global markets.
The announcement was made during a launch event in Cairo, bringing together stakeholders from Egypt’s entrepreneurship, and investment ecosystem to introduce the vision behind KEMET-X and its role in strengthening Egypt’s connections with the wider African and global startup landscape.
The launch event also featured the KEMET-X Tracks Challenge, covering business, creative, technology, IP, and innovation, highlighting the breadth of opportunities and disciplines that KEMET-X will bring together under one platform.

The September launch marks the beginning of the journey toward the flagship KEMET-X gathering, taking place on 14–15 December 2026 at the Great Pyramids of Giza. The two-day gathering will bring together more than 200 partners, startups, and venture capital firms from over 50 countries, alongside investors, entrepreneurs, technology leaders, corporates, and institutions from across the global ecosystem.
Through KEMET-X, Career 180 aims to showcase Egypt as a meeting point for global entrepreneurship and investment while creating opportunities for African founders to connect with international capital, markets, and expertise.
