Maison Messika unveils the Second Opus of its new Midnight Sun High Jewelry collection. Still inspired by the theme of a festive night out, the Artistic Director focused this year on the time which follows the final moments of the night.
This twilight zone where the immaculate whiteness of dawn meets the last light of the stars. “I have magical memories of parties until the end of the night, when we leave the dance floor to find the first rays of the sun”, confides the Artistic Director who wanted to explore here this singular duality of moments. Playing with contrasts, exploring chiaroscuro, she imagines sets in two versions of gold which oppose and respond to each other.

This Second Opus is a superb work around light and contrasts which reveals pieces as enigmatic as they are bright. Maison Messika’s unique innovation this year takes the form of real sparkling diamond bubbles in an exceptional snow setting. The magic of the play of light composes unique sets, masterfully embodied by the famous model Natalia Vodianova and the young English actor, Lucien Laviscount during a vibrant shoot.
Mixed genres, duality of light, play of opposition, the Maison places its High Jewelry creations more than ever at the forefront of style.
