Abu Dhabi, UAE, 31 March 2026: DAZ Festival is back, inviting families to escape the city and reconnect with nature through a celebration of all things wild. Taking place from 3-12 April at Al Jahili Park, Al Ain, the festival offers a one-of-a-kind outdoor adventure, with fun and surprises to discover at every turn.
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), DAZ invites residents and visitors to dive into the thrill of the great outdoors. Steeped in the scenic surrounds of Al Jahili, the festival brings together adventure-led activities, nature-inspired experiences, live performances and roaming entertainment. Workshops, games and activities keep curiosity leading the way, while a curated line-up of locally loved and internationally recognised food concepts keeps everyone fuelled throughout the day.
This year brings an exciting new mix of adventures and attractions across the festival, designed to create unforgettable memories. Visitors can take on The Jungle Escape, trek Into the Wild and zip through Zip the DAZ World, as well as tackle obstacle challenges, jump on carnival rides and dive into arcade fun that keeps the energy going well into the evening.
Little explorers can get hands-on with Wood Wizard Workshops and Fossil Workshops, stepping into the role of budding archaeologists with brushes and shovels to uncover hidden treasures. They can also try their luck at skill games and enjoy arts and crafts with Stars & Bananaz, plus Pony World and storytelling sessions. Younger guests can hop into the officially licensed PAW Patrol driving experience, alongside the return of popular carnival attractions and interactive play experiences.
The Community Stage returns with a daily line-up of live shows and edutainment inspired by the festival theme, bringing interactive fun throughout the day. Each festival weekend features a fresh show programme, so every visit comes with something new to discover. Roaming performers and friendly characters will also appear across the grounds at scheduled times, adding extra moments of surprise and delight.
As part of this year’s programme, DAZ Festival will once again partner with Al Ain Zoo to bring supervised animal encounters and a dedicated petting zoo experience to the park. Visitors can get up close with friendly animals, discover reptiles and colourful birds, and join wildlife workshops that spark curiosity while teaching children how to care for animals responsibly – making every encounter as meaningful as it is memorable.
Taste buds are in for a treat, with a vibrant line-up of global and home-grown food concepts across the festival. From crowd-pleasing bites and comfort favourites to indulgent, photo-worthy desserts, the food yard keeps the flavours coming – alongside coffee spots serving barista-made brews for the perfect pick-me-up between adventures
