Al Ain Region, Abu Dhabi, 18 November: The 11th edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) wrapped up in Al Ain Region with a packed crowd and global attention, delivering another memorable night of grappling and jiu-jitsu action. ADXC 11 came to a close on 14 November after ten bouts featuring 20 male and female athletes from different countries, proving once again why Abu Dhabi stands at the world capital of combat sports.
Organised by International Vision Sports Management in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the championship is now firmly established as one of Abu Dhabi’s flagship sporting events, continuing to elevate the emirate’s reputation as a global hub for martial arts. Launched in the UAE capital and now expanded to major cities around the world, ADXC has become one of the most anticipated stages for elite jiu-jitsu and grappling athletes.
The championship also created strong buzz across social media platforms, with audiences from around the world engaging with its key moments through comments, shares and short clips. This helped expand its reach, strengthen its digital presence, and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading platform for following major combat sports events globally.
Tareq Al Bahri, Deputy General Manager of International Vision Investment, said, “The success of this edition reflects how far the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship has come in such a short time. Everyone, from the athletes to the organisers and fans, contributed to making this event another milestone in the UAE’s combat sports journey. We are proud to see the championship grow globally while continuing to strengthen its presence here at home.”
The organising committee confirmed that preparations are already underway for the next edition of Abu Dhabi Extreme, with more details to be revealed soon.
